Procedures describing how to use the various simulation analysis commands appear below. Although this information uses examples containing containing manufacturing data not specifically related to machining, the commands do work for machining data.
Bind analysis enables users to set up interference or distance objects (using the Simulation Analysis commands) and and bind that analysis to the move activity itself. As a consequence, users receive data about distance or interference as the move activity is being created.
A number of commands can be run while you run Process Simulation. These shared commands include simulation commands such as Analysis Configuration and view commands such as Zoom In. When you click on other commands (e.g., Zoom In), the simulation pauses. Once the command has finished, you can start a paused simulation from the pause point, click Run.
The analysis mode determines whether simulation analysis occurs in a particular simulation or jog (that is, whether analysis is on or off). If analysis is on, this command and Analysis Configuration also determine whether clashes or transgressions of distance parameters result in the affected parts becoming highlighted or in the simulation stopping.
To resolve this problem, Hitachi has developed an innovative system that applies simulation analysis technologies.
