spool API
Wird die dort angegeben Datei nicht gefunden oder kann eine (oder mehrere) Funktion nicht geladen werden wird das standard Spool-API (Dateisystem) verwendet.
If the specified file can not be loaded or if one (or more) functions could not be found) the default spool API (file system) will be used.

Das Spool-API bildet in etwa die Architektur nach, die auch mit dem Dateisystem benutzt wird.
Unabhängig von dem unten beschriebenen Spool-API besteht ab der Professional-Edition die Möglichkeit die Spooldateien per ODBC direkt mit einem Datenbanksystem auszutauschen.
