"Wir haben jetzt die Veröffentlichung von Microcode-Updates für Intel-Prozessor-Produkte abgeschlossen, die in den vergangenen mehr als neun Jahren veröffentlicht wurden und einen Schutz gegen die von Google entdeckten Side-Channel-Anfälligkeiten benötigen", teilte eine Intel-Sprecherin mit.
"We've now completed release of microcode updates for Intel microprocessor products launched in the last 9+ years that required protection against the side-channel vulnerabilities discovered by Google Project Zero," an Intel spokesperson told The Reg in a supplementary emailed statement.
Es handelt sich um überarbeitete Varianten von Intel Microcode Updates, die im Februar 2019 ausgerollt werden.
