Essbase supports connecting to Oracle databases using the Oracle Call Interface (OCI). You can load data from Oracle databases using Data Prep Editor in Administration Services Console by specifying an OCI connect identifier. Additionally, you can specify an OCI connect identifier when deploying a cube using the MaxL deploy information on Oracle Essbase Studio support for OCI, see Oracle Essbase Studio New Features.
